Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Show.IO, including the website at tryshow.io, the app at app.tryshow.io, Show.IO Local event planning features, and related mobile apps (together, the "Service"), operated by Show.IO ("we," "us," or "Show.IO").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you can bind that company, and "you" means that company.

If you have a signed Master Subscription Agreement with Show.IO, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms.

1. The Service

Show.IO provides software for conference booth teams and for planning local / side events (Show.IO Local), including invitees, RSVPs, branding, notes, and related tools we make available. Features may change over time.

2. Accounts

  • You are responsible for users you invite and for activity under your workspace.
  • Keep login credentials secure and disable access for people who leave your team.
  • We may suspend access for security risk, abuse, or material breach of these Terms.

3. Your content and data

You retain ownership of content and data you submit ("Customer Data"), including event details, invitee lists, logos, photos, notes, and recordings. You grant Show.IO a license to host, copy, process, and display Customer Data as needed to provide and secure the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You represent that you have the rights and any required consents to submit Customer Data (including logos and recordings) and to use the Service for your events.

4. Logo use (Show.IO Local)

If you use Show.IO Local for planning your events, we may use your company name and logo on our websites (including tryshow.io and related Show.IO marketing pages) to identify you as a customer or Local user.

If you want us to stop using your logo, email support@tryshow.io and we will remove your logo from those pages within a reasonable time after we receive your notice (typically within ten business days).

This logo permission is limited to Show.IO's own marketing and website use. We will not sell your logo or claim that you endorse a specific unrelated product beyond identifying you as a Show.IO / Local user, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with event organizer rules.
  • Do not attempt to access another customer's workspace or bypass security.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or unauthorized personal data.
  • If you record voice notes of conversations, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law.

6. Intellectual property

Show.IO and its licensors own the Service, software, and Show.IO brands. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our IP to you. Feedback you provide may be used by Show.IO without restriction.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that AI, OCR, or transcription features will be error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOW.IO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING).

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach. After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Logo removal requests under Section 4 still apply.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
